Blake Jennelle is the Chief Technology Officer of 645 Ventures. In this role, he leads the firm’s engineering team and oversees the software-driven investing strategy that has differentiated 645 since its founding.
Blake was an early employee and former SVP of Growth and Operations at DuckDuckGo. Previously, he founded multiple companies and has been recognized as a community leader among startup founders. Outside of 645, Blake has a leadership coaching practice where he works one-on-one with founders and senior members of their team. He has a deep personal interest in privacy, the ethics of technology and business, and the emotional foundations of leadership.
In his spare time, Blake plays classical piano, hikes in the local mountains, and spends as much time as possible learning new things.
Blake received a B.A. in Social Studies from Harvard University, where he graduated Magna Cum Laude and was inducted into Phi Beta Kappa.
